11

Our Creating Healthy Indoor Childcare Environments online self-paced course will launch again on September 19th.  Our aim is to connect with a wider audience of childcare providers that we have not otherwise been able to reach.

This course equips Mississippi childcare providers to better understand how children are affected by different factors inside their centers and homes, and how to address those issues. Take advantage of this self-paced online course to earn contact hours and learn more about healthy indoor environments. There are eight lessons included in the course. Each lesson includes; PowerPoints, teaching presentations, activities and quizzes to help keep you engaged with the course. There are also self-paced learning assignments for each module. *You will receive 10 contact hours upon completion of this course.

The course starts Monday, September 19th and goes through November 18th. The deadline to register is October 14th. This course is a self-paced online course through Canvas.  Participants have up to two months to complete this course if they register by September 19th. Our FCS Extension Agent Lara Angel is one of the instructors along with Ontenncia Boclear, Regina Boykins, and Tashmia Turner.
