Today was a great day for the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office. Two of our newest deputies graduated from the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officer’s Training Academy today and will now be patrolling our county. Basic training is the core of Law enforcement training teaching each individual officer how to do the job of law enforcement in a safe and effective manner. The 12-week program facilitates training for state, county and municipal law enforcement agencies across Mississippi. It is essential to prepare deputies who serve our community.
