Today, May 10th, West Elementary sixth grade students graduated from the D.A.R.E.’s keepin’ it REAL program. Corporal Kenya Bibbs, D.A.R.E. Officer, has spent the last ten weeks educating students on the dangers of bullying and substance abuse. Speakers included Chief Mark Ballard and Mrs. Kayla Evans.
“It was a pleasure teaching the wonderful students at West Elementary School!” said Cpl. Kenya Bibbs. “This was the first year D.A.R.E. had been taught at their school and they loved it.”
