There was a single gas station in cities across Lowndes County selling diesel at the lowest price of $2.99 per gallon in the week ending Dec. 28, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
The average reported cost of diesel in cities within Lowndes County was $3.20 per gallon.
Of the 56 reported gas stations in cities within Lowndes County, nine offer diesel.
The $3.08 average reported price of diesel in Mississippi was unchanged from the previous week.
