U.S. Representative Trent Kelly has announced the winner of the 2024 Congressional App Challenge. The honor goes to Jasmaan Banipal, a student at the Mississippi School for Math and Science, for his app MSAGRI. This app will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building alongside other winners from across the nation.

Banipal's creation, MSAGRI, is inspired by Mississippi's agriculture industry. It aims to support local farmers in making informed decisions to enhance their operations.

The Congressional App Challenge is an annual event that promotes coding and computer science among students. It encourages them to use creativity to address real-world issues and consider careers in technology fields.
