Male students at Starkville High School who achieved Math Performance Level 3 in 2020-2021 school year

Up to 30 percent of male students at Starkville High School achieved Math Performance Level 3 in the 2020-2021 school year, according to the Mississippi Department of Education.

This is a decrease from the 2018-2019 school year.

Male students at Starkville High School performed the best in English.

There are 1,064 students at Starkville High School, with $12,854 being spent on each student in one school year.

Mississippi has continually struggled with public education. The most recent Report Card on American Education, from a right-leaning think tank, gave the state a C-. This is consistent with ratings stretching back nearly one decade.

The nonpartisan Education Week also ranked Mississippi schools as C- in their most recent analysis.
