On Sunday, March 9, former New Hope High School standout Gates Gerhart’s current college team, the UT Martin Skyhawks, won 10-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Samford Bulldogs.

The game took place at Skyhawk Baseball Field. This was their third matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Skyhawks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 6 p.m. at Toyota Field against Auburn Tigers.
