On Tuesday, March 18, former New Hope High School standout Brant Smith’s current college team, the Delta State Statesmen, lost 14-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys.
The game took place at Harvey Stadium at Ferriss Field. This was their first matchup against the Wonder Boys this season.
The Statesmen’s next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 5 p.m. at Tartt Field against West Alabama Tigers.
